Sales Executive or Sales Executive SR (DOE) Salt Lake City, UT Bring your sales expertise to the following role: Sales Executive - Represent Regence by selling all lines of business including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability etc.
- Responsible for strategic territory development and agent relationships.
- Responsible for acquiring new various size group(s) business for assigned territory.
- Will sell direct and /or through broker/agent.
Sales Executive SR Same duties as a Sales Executive, plus: - Knowledge of all product lines and works collaboratively with other Regence affiliates sales staff.
- Acquire new various size group(s) business for assigned territory.
- Will sell direct and/ or through broker/agent.
- Responsible for leading strategic territory development and agent relationships.
- Mentor/coach other sales executives in sales techniques and sales leadership throughout the Plan.
Combine your degree and sales experience with the following skills: Sales Executive - A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, business, or related field; May substitute an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- 4 years sales experience with 2 years preferable in employee benefits.
- Must be currently licensed, or must become licensed within 90 days of hire, to sell insurance (health, life, and /or disability) in the state or states where business is conducted; Prior to receiving a license staff are not allowed to engage in soliciting or selling activities.
- Must have a valid state driver's license with a good driving record and proof of auto insurance.
Proficiency in desktop application software including email, word processing, spreadsheets and creating presentations. - Fully proficient verbal/written presentation skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize to meet established deadlines.
- Ability to plan and execute an effective sales approach.
- Demonstrated relationship skills
- Ability to engage in community/ networking opportunities outside of normal business hours.
- Demonstrate a consistent focus on achieving or surpassing results/goals.
- Display an enthusiastic, fully committed, and self-directed approach to work.
- Represent Regence in a positive professional manner in the marketplace.
- Ability to establish and maintain a top prospect list and sales pipeline.
- Ability to quickly adapt and change priorities.
- May require participation in an industry organization.
Sales Executive SR Qualifications of a Sales Executive, plus: - 6 years sales experience with 4 years preferable in employee benefits.
Ability to lead transition team. - A proven track record of success in achieving sales goals.
- Detailed understanding of complexities with ability to communicate and to negotiate all areas related to the sales functions (ie underwriting, sales, renewals, etc.)
- Ability to use tools to build complex Cost Modeling scenarios.
